Steamed Cod

I'm one of the few who don't particularly like the taste of cod very much. It's too milky for me... but there's a real lack of freshwater fish in China so i don't have that many options. I've been experimenting with a couple of ways to cook cod. So far i've tried the Nobu Black Miso Cod recipe, and this Chinese Wedding Dinner style. For the latter, recommend using less soy sauce if the fish is not that big.

hey u can try steam it plain then make this crispy garlic sauce n pour on top. its very nice n the garlic kills that milky cod taste. to make the garlic sauce just fry the minced garlic in normal oil + sesame oil in low heat till garlic is brown n crispy. make sure there's quite a lot of oil as in the garlic is swimming in oil. garnish with pepper and fresh pasley. try it n let me know if u like it. fern
