Bonjour!

Or as Mountain Man says ben zhoo....

We're finally here in Paris. Actually it's my 2nd day and it's Mountain Man's 5th day? I can't post something long cos i'm severely jetlagged. I slept through Twilight at the theatre earlier, missed a good 30 mins Rob Pattinson and wht's her name's romance developing.

We've moved into this gorgeous apartment along St Germain, i thought i took pictures of it but turns out everything was a blur. I really haven't been myself lately. This picture is decent enough. It's a 40m2 apartment, decor is tasteful and everything works (including the heater) so thank god.

Some quick highlights, not in any particular order;

Jim Morrison's grave. Mountain man requested tht i post this. He went to visit the cemetery while waiting for me to arrive. Well, don't get a chance to watch him live? u can now catch him dead.

You haven't been to Paris if u haven't seen the Tour Eiffel. We went up to level 2 only. They had this really cool slanted lift to bring us up.

Les Deux Moulins. This is not any ordinary brasserie. It's where Amelie of Montmatre "worked" in the movie. It's extremely crowded, and the food not's great. And remind me to never trust mountain man's knowledge of food. I saw "AAAAA Chitterling sausage" on the menu and wondered wht it was, he told me that it was very tiny sausages ... When i got the order, it's the size of my forearm AND when i cut it open, intestines kinda spilled out, like i cut open someone's gut. Eeeww...

Anyway for the past 2 days, i've walked like miles and miles... and i'm tired. So it's time for me to hit the sack. goodnight all! and, gong xi fa cai, hope i'm not too late.

coz, u do sound tired. and for a tired one u wrote and posted quite a bit!! =D

rest well, now you know why i hate long haul trips now, the jetlag is really awful isn't it. if u brought any sk2 masks remember to put them on to calm the skin.. long haul trips make the skin dryer and more sensitive..

finally, enjoy Pa-Li!! hehe

Liyann> yah it's gross. but apparently it's popular in France. It's available in most restaurants!

Anonymous> haha, mountain man's french is that "good".

AAA, Gingerblossoms > the strike was OK. just stay around our area most of the day. We're centrally located so can walk pretty much everywhere anyway... i'm finally coming home today!
