2 or more

There was a time when we wanted 3 kids. And then i got pregnant with the 2nd one and i thought "Maaaan this is hard!". I've been complaining the last 5 months that i'm exhausted, worn down, i'm completely wasted at the end of each day. Some of the old wives say bearing girls give you stronger pregnancy symptoms. Another school of thought said the 2nd one is always worse. Whoever is right, the symptoms were there and there's no running away from it. That was when i decided that 2 is enough, for now. At least until we return home where we'll get more family support.

Good news is i'm starting to feel better now. Mountain Boy is getting used to seeing my belly grow, i don't know if he knows what's going on but he points to it and say "meimei" (sometimes he points to his own belly and says "meimei", hmmm), and he likes to put lotion on my belly.

I think about how lucky I am to have a pair of the sexes. Not many people are blessed with that. But i also think about how much more fun it would be for Mountain Boy if he had a brother for a companion. Maybe i'm generalising but i think boys are closer to boys, and girls are tighter with girls. But if i go by that theory, i'll need at least 4 kids- 2 boys and 2 girls to ensure that everyone is satisfied. Everyone but me, the thought of having 4 kids just makes my eggs shrink back into my fallopian tubes (for those who've watched HIMYM season 6 i'm borrowing the reference).

So how? I guess 2 or more kids are back on the table. Plan is, birth the 2nd kid, go for a long holiday- dive with the great whites, jump off a helicopter, climb the Machu Picchu and then attempt the impossibly dangerous 3rd child.
