Last night, Singapore was portrayed as one of the busiest port in the world and the teams headed down to ASL for their road block. The finale was Mega Zip on Sentosa Island and that looked REALLY cool.
I think STB did almost everything right this time. But someone obviously forgot to send a memo to all the taxi drivers-
- DO NOT ABANDON YOUR PASSENGERS, ESPECIALLY IF A CAMERA CREW COMES ALONG WITH IT.
- DON'T TALK TOO MUCH COCK. JUST DRIVE.
- DON'T SPEAK IN SINGLISH. An uncle went.. "Where's the mega jeeep ah?" One lady answered, "upstair".

i caught it!! Yeah, great to see Singapore in Amazing Race.. and regarding the cabs, i thought the cab drivers featured were pretty awsome. Havent seen another cab driver buying from the participants, let alone 10 ice-creams just like that.. the mercedes cab driver that drove the 4th team to marina barrage were pretty engaging too.
All in all, glad to see Singapore appearing great in the show!
faith> i guess only singaporeans can appreciate singlish, outsiders just think it's funny.. But i have to say that i enjoyed that episode.
