37 degrees in Shanghai...

And we still froze our butts off!

My first visit to the Shanghai Absolute Ice Bar (or shd i say absolute ice brr, get it get it?)

Quite an interesting experience. Everything was made of ice (duh). The room was only about the size of a typical classroom, everyone had to wear these thick eskimo-ish outfit (that has been worn by thousands before you). The cost was 100 yuan, but u're only allowed to stay for 45 minutes. It didn't matter cos we didn't stay more than 20 minutes. Its bloody -5 degrees!!! Aileen and I were in capris, so we really couldn't take it.

Drank from Ice glasses.... Question that comes to mind is, DO THEY RECYCLE THE GLASSES? Don't think they do, when u drink off the glass, the ice will melt so the glass will be slightly deformed. Anyway, germs probably dun survive -5 degrees. The menu is not made from ice, its plastic. Sorry to disappoint u guys.

The ice is supposedly "Cleaner than water". If you really think about it, it doesn't make sense. What does it mean? Maybe it should be, Pure WATER instead.
