shake ya bon-bon

I've always wanted to take up dancing lessons of some sort. Something in between line-dancing and break-dance. I figure, Belly Dancing! Thrennggg....

This is Heather. Yes Heather i have another friend who's also called Heather. and u 2 actually look a little alike.

I've had 2 lessons so far.... the teacher is some chinese girl, she's quite pretty. Not the typical curvy turkish lady...Its harder than it looks. Especially when u try to coordinate ur upper body with ur lower body and then move ur hands and feet at the same time.

Anyway, i hope all the hip shaking and butt crunching will help me loose my extra flab. This is Heather in action...

OK. here is the step by step. you would find it easy if you already do yoga (which i know you do, right?)

1. while standing upright, tighten your stomach muscles and thigh muscles ONLY (isolation involved here.. if calf muscle is also tightened it's ok i think).

2. make sure they are really tight ok. this is the most crucial step.

3. now, shake your KNEES! as in attempt to shake them front and back in position alternatingly, quickly but with TINY movements.

4. see the effect! the whole of VIBRATION??

5. if you don't tighten your thigh or stomach muscles, it's just like a funny mound of flab of the thighs being shaken around. now, it's a cool vibration, haha.

=> great for stomach and thigh muscles. :))
