How do you feel?
I feel okay, a little sad to leave behind the familarity i've build up over the last 16 months. But i'll come back to Shanghai office pretty often so it's not goodbye.
What/who will you miss most about Shanghai?
Definitely friends. Especially Jackson, Aileen, Daren (already back in malaysia), the whole chain gang hangin out.
I will miss Taikang Rd cafes, Element Fresh food, and H&M.
I also can't bear to leave my masseur (No.1 Shifu from Kangjun), my facial lady (Meidi), my tailor (Li Shifu), and the person who puts on my fake lashes (Ming Ming).
Are you looking forward to Beijing?
Uhm, mixed feelings really. Excited about exploring a new city, but I also feel like i've been lifted out of a comfort zone so there's a lot of anxiety and fears.
Like what?
Finding friends all over again, getting used to where everything is- supermarkets, tailors, drycleaners, facial places, yoga studios..
But what about your job? is this move good for you?
I am doing the same things but i sit in the shanghai office. I'll just have to find other ways to make myself useful.
Have you gotten a house in Beijing?
Yes. Its a two bedroom apartment. We've downgraded only cos Beijing houses are expensive due to the Olympics.
Right you'll be there during the Olympics, got free tickets?
No.

NOT REALLY!!! i hope the movers will do a good job cos i can't be bothered to fill in the insurance form. Okay maybe i should. Can't continue with the interview anymore i have to go count the number of pins and needles i'm shipping over the beijing!

Btw, the link back to blog doesn't work cos the blog is suppose to transition to another domain name. i am not sure if the rest of the not so tech savvy people know wht i'm talking about so shhh...
woman, it's not that I is pro (or the boyfriend is pro), it's just that he's very pro at finding pro-looking templates. can try googling "blogger premium (or best) template". that's how we got the one i am using now. but it's still a little kinky (yes, that's on purpose) so i am going to get him to sort it out for me.
cuz, just happened to log on la.. whenever i am bored (oops) i go surfing for blog updates and yours is always farnyyyy lah...
But i know there is a way u can get updates whenever a blog is updated... some sitefeed thingie.. but sorry your cousin here is IT idiot and neither does she bother unless she has no choice, har har.
still not very sure if xx still gets 10,000 hits a day or not.. her blog is entertaining, but getting tiring at times.. well at least for me.. and she has to change her style soon, she's already in mid-20s soon to be late 20s... dunno how much longer she can continue to writing as she has done in her early 20s. ;)
but can la.. u're taller than her, more photogenic than her, prettier than her and is as real and raw as she is, and also has as much guts as she does!! just that you dunno photoshop and web design. she's good at the total package, from updating herself (a bit like madonna over the years) to doing her website up.. otherwise sure your blog also very the popular one =DDD

oh ya as for your links... remember to check on your links leh.. i think some of the links on the home page are also not working leh... aiyoooooooo, how can have broken navigation on home page??
