So we did an experiment. We printed out black and white lines and clipped it to the sides of his crib. On some afternoons, i'd find T staring at the black and white lines for hours, playing by himself in his crib. I don't know if he's really "seeing" anything but that was enough to spur us on to get other black and white flash cards.
See! T is enjoying his new toy...
"It's a rooster dad, NEXT!"
"A nice big house, with 2 windows, a door and a chimney!!"
For the record, YES WE ARE KIASU parents. It's my badge of honour.

Jen> Yes... since day one.
Soniajust pointed at Dylan's pict and asked who is that?
Shanon answered: Dylan! Your new cousin.
Sonia answered:"Hey! thats stella's new baby!"
Shannon" YES!!!"

Cool! I was going to try the lines thingy but haven't yet. Since it worked for Dylan I shall try for Bubbles! hehe. Will let you know how it goes for her.
angie> hehe! clever sonia...
Corsage> actually we kinda did it by accident at the start. Mountain man wore a striped bnw t-shirt and we found T staring at it. so we printed the lines and he stared at it too. Dunno if it's just a coincidence tho... lemme know if it works on Bubbles!!
