新元里 (not sure if i got the right characters) is a wet market we go to over the weekends. Fruits, seafood and vegetables at a fraction of supermarket prices but double the freshness! Its also the place to go if we wanna get singaporean ingredients like belachan, curry powder etc etc. Sometimes we also find kway teow, tao pok n bak chang.
