Baby supplies, Check!

Thanks to Little Miss Snooze's comprehensive list of Baby Stuff To Buy, i've completed all of the baby shopping in just 2 hrs. Of course luckily V was around to verify and do quality control on the stuff we picked, making sure tht everything was in order. Simple things like choosing the right mittens, thick rubbers are better than thin rubbers so they won't slip off. Clothes made of muslin are better for newborns, etc etc.
Those were valuable advice i wouldn't have known otherwise.

The start up cost of having a child is really high! The supplies alone cost us over 400SGD (includes big items like Steriliser, medela BPA free milk bottles and a swanky bathtub). So i'm guessing T2(Tamagotchi 2) will have to inherit T's things for it to make financial sense.

Anyway, China baby shopping is really convenient. There are a few websites equivalent to Kiddy Palace that i can just call and it's cash on delivery. Totally helpful if u're homebound during ur confinement.

Great list. I now just have to figure if they send to Shanxi province? :p

Which milk formula and what diaper brand is Dylan going to use?

LMS> Yes yes! the comments were great too!

Judebabe> i'm sure they do! I'm trying to breastfeed Dylan to the best i can. But i have 2 cans of milk powder (from Singapore) to standby. i bought whichever was the smallest can, i think it's Nan (Nestle) and Similac. But my gynae actually recommended Friso (but i couldn't find a small can).

I'm using cloth nappies, but i have some Drypers (sample from the doctor's office) on standby. But diapers are easily available in supermarkets so i can send Mountain Man out to buy anytime!

Do u already have a babystuff list? i can forward u Little Miss Snooze's list. Share the goodness!

hi ladies, just to share my experience...in china, i use mamy poko, feel that it is better than pampers. for P, if your hand kenna lotion or water while changing, the stickers do not stick again, thus the whole diaper is wasted.. Poko does not have such problem.

I use NAN HA for my 2 kids...

Yes. please send me the list at judebabe@gmail.com.

I am thinking of breastfeeding too but not sure if exclusively yet! :p
I can only find Dumex and Wyeth here in the supermkt.
Maybe I should buy n stock some milk powder from Beijing. :)

I have just bought some non-leak nappy pants. Covers up like diaper but used with nappy cloths.

Qoo> Pampers are not popular among my Mommy-friends here too. They recommend Mamy poko and Huggies. :)
